As an artist and as a shipwright by trade, I have spent the past 20 years marrying my skills and knowledge of wooden boat building and restoration with my passion for painting marine art.  The parallels of fulfilling my dreams in the remaining years of my life against the rate of natural deterioration of wooden boats on Canada’s coasts compels me to document and capture their history before the lifespan of these monuments deteriorate.  I would like to leave a legacy of art told through the craft of both a shipwright and an artist.
